Vehicle Stickers are required for all County Parks / Public Accesses (stickers are included with camping fees):
Petenwell Park, Castle Rock Park, Arrowhead, Camelot, Sherwood, Big Roche-A-Cri, Hwy 21 WI River Access, Patrick Lake, Jordan Lake, Mason Lake, and Crooked Lake.
Season stickers run April 1 - March 31 Annually.
Season / Day Use Stickers are available at these locations: Petenwell Park, Castle Rock Park, Bighorn Store, Wagon Wheel Campground, and the County Treasurers Office in the courthouse. Stickers may also be purchased online at www.adamscountyparks.com
2023 Season use sticker - 1/$25.00 or 2/$40.00 when purchased at the same time
Day use $5.00 / vehicle per day
Facilities:
A vehicle pass is required at all Adams County Parks and public accesses, passes are included if you are a registered camper or have a shelter reserved. Petenwell and Castle Rock Parks have overnight camping with a designated swimming area, boat launch, modern playground equipment, heated shower/restroom facilities, sanitary dump station, and visitor/registration station with concessions, ice and firewood available, game room, shelter buildings, and boat slip rentals. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring, many with water hookup.
Reservations:
Reservations can be made online at www.adamscountyparks.com There is an additional $10 Non-Refundable Reservation Fee per site. Reservations require a minimum of 2 night stay (3 nights on holiday weekends) and a maximum of 2 weeks stay (premium site maximum is 9 days). Camping reservation cancellations require a minimum of 30 days prior notice to receive a monetary refund. Cancellations with 7 days prior notice will receive a camper credit voucher for use at a later date.

Sanitation:
Petenwell and Castle Rock Parks have modern heated shower/restroom facilities and vault type pit toilets cleaned daily. Petenwell and Castle Rock Parks have dump stations and also offer a $15 weekly pump out service. There is a $5.00 non-camper fee to use the dump station for non-campers (day or season pass do not include dumping). A sanitary dump station for watercraft is available at Petenwell Park.
Water Sources:
Petenwell and Castle Rock Parks have state approved and tested wells. Water hookups to many campsites.
Shelter Buildings:
Available for Reunions, Weddings, Birthday/Graduation Parties, etc. Shelter reservation cancellations require a 45 day notice to receive a refund. Shelter buildings include picnic tables, electrical outlets, and a refrigerator. Grills, restrooms, and water are nearby. Reservations are accepted beginning January 1 for the current year only. To avoid a shelter building clean-up fee equal to your rental fee being assessed, please clean-up the shelter before leaving the area. Clean-up includes: placing all trash in the provided trash barrels, wiping off counters, tables, and any spills in the shelter or refrigerator, sweeping the floor, and emptying the refrigerator. If the shelter has been "decorated", all decorations must be removed.

Seasonal Boat Slip Reservations:
Seasonal boat slip reservations are accepted on a first come basis beginning in January, for the current year. Petenwell Park at 608-564-7513 and Castle Rock Park at 608-339-7713. Seasonal Boat Slip Reservation Cancellations require a minimum 30 day notice to receive a refund. Renting a seasonal slip one year does not automatically guarantee a slip for the following year. Seasonal slips include 2 car passes.
Daily & Weekly boat slip rentals are available beginning in January.
