Economic Support determines eligibility for : Badger Care, FoodShare, Care Taker Supplement, Waiver Services, Nursing Home and Child Care. Additionally, Economic Support is responsible for Energy Services, Food-Share Employment Training (FSET), Child Care Certification and Salvation Army Emergency Services. Adams County is a member of the Capital Consortium and division staff duties include answering calls for the consortium call center, customer service, data-processing and case management for people who call the call center.
Residents of Adams County requesting benefits under: FoodShare, Medicaid, BadgerCare Plus, Family Planning Only Services, and Caretaker Supplement may do so by using one of the contact points below.

Home Energy Plus includes the Wisconsin Home Energy Assistance Program and the Weatherization Program. This page provides information on the services, eligibility requirements and application information for these programs.
ENERGY ASSISTANCE
Wisconsin Home Energy Assistance Program (WHEAP) provides home heating assistance to eligible households. Indian tribal agencies and community agencies under the direction of the Division of Energy. Operating primarily with federal funding, the program provides assistance to approximately 225,000 households annually.
WEATHERIZATION
Weatherization services help homeowners and renters reduce energy consumption while increasing comfort in their homes by helping keep them cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. Addressing weatherization problems can make your home environment healthier and safer.
